Into Europe

From the 1st January 2021 all deliveries outside the UK may incur customs duty and local handling charges payable on delivery. These charges are payable by the customer and vary by the country and we advise you should enquire locally for more information prior to ordering. These additional local import charges are levied by the government in the country of import and not included in the delivery charges shown on our website. Goods cannot be rejected on import and refunded/returned due to these charges.

HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

Most maps are usually shipped on the next business day, however framed products can take an extra 1-2 days.

Mainland UK

Our smaller tubed maps are delivered using an economy courier service and will take 2-4 working days. Larger and framed maps are dispatched on a next day courier service. Just let us know if you have a specific day you would like to receive your map. 

Overseas

Accessories and smaller tubed maps in paper and plastic formats will be sent using an un-tracked service with Royal Mail Airmail. Usually this will take about 7-10 working days however in exceptional circumstances and depending upon customs it can take up to 21 working days.

All other products will be sent using an economy courier service. In Europe this will be 2-5 working days from date of dispatch and the rest of the world being 2-7 working days.

All delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.


DO I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS & IMPORT CHARGES?

For some countries, including the USA there is no import duty on mapping products going into the country. Please consult your individual country’s local customs office for details.

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.

For any parcels returned to us due to customs charges being higher than expected, we reserve the right to refund the transaction minus all costs incurred.

WHAT HAPPENS OF MY PARCEL GETS LOST?

Things occasionally go missing in the post. Don’t worry, all shipments are fully insured & we will be happy to make a claim on your behalf if this should occur. Our policy is to refund in full or send a replacement once the required time has passed, stated by the relevant shipping company in their terms.

Unfortunately, if a parcel is lost or takes longer to receive than expected because the address given was incorrect or incomplete we cannot accept any liability for this – though we will help to try and resolve it. Generally we need to wait 10 days from dispatch to begin this process.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE SIGN FOR MY DELIVERY?

Yes they can. The FMC accepts no responsibility if the signature received at the delivery address is not the recipient, and will consider this parcel correctly delivered.

WHAT IF I AM NOT HOME WHEN IT'S DELIVERED?

Courier companies will make 3 attempts on consecutive business days then leave a card for you to collect at their depot. Alternatively you can ring them to arrange delivery on a specific day.

WHAY HASN'T MY ORDER ARRIVED?

International shipments can occasionally take longer than expected- goods can be held up in customs or there can be delays during the handover from one country to another. Airmail services can take up to 21 working days from the day of dispatch.

Please check that you haven’t received a card from the couriers.

CAN YOU MARK THE PARCEL AS A GIFT OR THE VALUE OF THE GOODS LOWER SO I DON'T HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS CHARGES?

Unfortunately we cannot as this is against the law. Random spot checks are common, and we are responsible when caught.

DO YOU DELIVER TO PO BOX ADDRESSES?

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to PO or BFPO boxes as a signature is required upon delivery.
